Logo design @ Alwa Marketing
A logo belongs to a company like Facebook belongs to Meta.
Bad joke from Nils
A logo has a huge impact on how your customers perceive your brand. Therefore, the logo must function more or less as a business card:
It has to reach the right target group, appeal to them and be remembered.
To illustrate the process of logo design, we have divided it into 4. steps:
1. Understanding the brand identity
In order to build a brand identity, we ask our clients the following questions:
- Why was this company founded (company purpose)?
- What are the beliefs and values that are important to you as a company?
- What can you do better than anyone else?
- What makes you special?
- If you could describe your brand in three words, what would they be?
- What three words would you want your customers to use to describe you?
The most difficult part of the design process can be finding logo inspiration. To achieve a better result, we ask our clients to participate in the brainstorming process.
That is to understand what you like, what the future clientele likes and how to unite the tastes.
Of course, the final product should first of all attract customers, but equally it should represent the company and thus please the company.
3. Design Style
Especially with the logo, the chosen style plays an important role. Whether classic logo, retro logo, modern logo or minimalist logo. For each company, a different style can be suitable.
Our 3 design principles for logos can be seen in the next figure.
Logo design in 3 words
Without communication, neither designers nor clients will come together. It is important to learn from each other. Both parties have suggestions, feedback and ideas that should be processed in the design of the logo.
With the help of logodrafts and feedback loops, a result is found here that is guaranteed to convince!
